Indian Printing Packaging and Allied Machinery Manufacturers' Association (IPAMA) has announced the postponement ofthe 15th edition of PrintPack India originally scheduled for 3-8 February 2021.
IPAMA had conducted a detailed survey in which 85% of the participating companies had suggested postponement of Printpack.
In a press briefing, Dayakar Reddy, President, IPAMA, said “Keeping in view the impact of Corona virus worldwide and specifically in India, safety and healthcare of exhibitors &business visitors, prevailing market conditions, travel restrictions the issue was deliberated in our Governing Council.Considering all the pros & cons as also in consultation with the concerned stake holders, the Council had decided to postponePrintpackIndia Exhibition and the concurrent IndiaSign& LED Expo event to be held during a safer period”.
“We are also planning to introduce a virtual exhibition later this year on a limited scale with about 50 participants. The exact dates will be announced after the festive Diwali season” he added.
