Xerox is gearing up to discontinue production of the Xerox iGen 5 Press and the Xerox
Nuvera Presses, two stalwart platforms that have played pivotal roles in shaping the
Production Print industry. While orders for iGen and Nuvera will be fulfilled until inventory
runs out or through 2024, Xerox remains committed to offering unparalleled support for
these platforms throughout the duration of their contracts.
Despite the discontinuation of these legacy platforms, Xerox continues to meet client
demands with its advanced lineup, including the Xerox Iridesse Production Press, Xerox
Versant Press, and the Xerox PrimeLink digital printers. Underpinned by a recent multi-year
contract with FUJIFILM Business Innovation Inc., these printers cater to a diverse array of
applications, spanning from photo and book publishing to folding cartons. Equipped with
cutting-edge Xerox technology, these presses offer scalable production print capabilities,
catering to a wide spectrum of print providers, including in-plant facilities, commercial
printers, and agencies, thereby unlocking substantial growth opportunities.
Furthermore, Xerox remains committed to serving its customers with the cut sheet Xerox
Baltoro HF Inkjet Press, continuing to accept and fulfill orders while exploring strategic
options for its high-speed inkjet technology.
In addition to its internal offerings, Xerox has entered into an agreement with a third-party
provider specializing in high-speed continuous feed inkjet technology, ensuring Xerox clients
have access to high-volume continuous feed printing solutions as needed. |
