Electronics For Imaging, Inc. (EFI) has announced the release of two new next-generation
printers in its Wide Format Pro Series portfolio, designed to help sign and display graphics
producers enhance their competitiveness and grow their businesses. The EFI Pro 16h+
hybrid LED printer and the EFI Pro 30f+ flatbed LED printer both offer high-quality imaging at
production speeds, along with expanded printing capabilities and a low total cost of
ownership (TCO).
The EFI Pro 16h+ is a 65-inch hybrid flatbed/roll-fed LED printer that delivers exceptional
image quality with resolutions up to 1200 dpi. It features true variable drop grayscale printing
with a 5pL drop size and can print up to 50% faster than the previous Pro 16h model. The
Pro 16h+ also incorporates LED curing technology and supports CYMK plus two white ink
channels, enabling up to five-layer printing in a single pass, which broadens the range of
applications while keeping manufacturing costs low.
The new EFI Pro 30f+ flatbed LED printer also offers impressive image quality with
resolutions up to 1200 dpi and true variable drop grayscale printing with a 5pL drop size. It
operates up to 25% faster than its predecessor, the Pro 30f, significantly speeding up
production. With a large bed size that provides a printable area of 120 x 80 inches and the
ability to print on media up to four inches thick, the Pro 30f+ supports CMYK plus white ink
and up to five-layer printing in a single pass. This versatility allows users to produce a wider
range of applications at a lower cost per print. Additionally, the printer comes equipped with
