Canon India launches upgraded imagePRESS V1000

Canon India announced the launch of an upgraded version of its highly acclaimed imagePRESS V1000 at Print Expo Chennai 2025. The upgrade introduces a New Vacuum Paper Feeding Deck, further enhancing the capabilities of this powerful color production printer, which has already gained widespread industry recognition for its performance in light to mid-production print environments.

Since its initial launch, the imagePRESS V1000 has impressed users with its blend of advanced technology, intuitive usability, and exceptional print quality. Designed for jobbers, offset printers, and in-house print service providers (PSPs), the machine continues to deliver vibrant, consistent output and reliable performance across a wide range of high-volume printing jobs. The newly introduced paper feeding deck builds on this foundation, offering a transformative improvement in paper handling efficiency.

The New Vacuum Paper Feeding Deck with three Standard Paper Trays having 5,000-Sheet Capacity, significantly increases paper load capacity, reducing the need for manual intervention during production and allowing for longer, uninterrupted print runs.

When two POD Deck-F1 units are connected in tandem, the system can manage fully automated print jobs for up to 10,000 sheets, optimizing workflow and minimizing downtime.

With advanced Vacuum-Feed Technology, the vacuum system ensures stable and accurate paper feeding, even with a wide variety of media types, enhancing overall productivity and print consistency. The new feeding deck is also compatible with Canon’s current imagePRESS V900, V800, and V700 Series color production printers, making it a scalable upgrade for existing users.

The new paper feeding solution is a significant step forward in supporting high-volume environments with enhanced automation and reliability.
