HP and Redington will showcase the HP Indigo 6K+ Digital Press at LOUPE India 2026.
Building on the HP Indigo 6K platform, the new model addresses the changing demands of
label converters managing shorter runs, increasing SKU counts, quicker turnaround and a
broader mix of applications.
The press uses HP Indigo’s liquid electrophotographic digital printing technology and
supports a range of substrates, including pressure-sensitive labelstock, paper and
unsupported films. The platform has a maximum web width of 340 mm, while production
speeds depend on the colour mode and configuration selected.
A key feature is the SmartControlSystem, supported by AI-powered tools and automation
designed to enhance consistency, productivity and uptime. These capabilities aim to
streamline job changes and help converters manage frequent artwork revisions and multiple
product versions more efficiently.
Digital printing can complement flexographic and other conventional processes by taking on
suitable short-run and variable jobs without the need for conventional plate preparation. This
gives converters greater flexibility in allocating work across their production lines while
responding to changing customer requirements. |
