Celebrating 150 years of digital printing innovations, Konica Minolta's PrintXpress buses
concluded their triumphant journey by returning to their starting point after the "PrintXpress –
Innovations in Print" roadshow.
This unique roadshow, which began on March 21st, 2023, lasted for 5 months, showcasing
Konica Minolta's unwavering commitment to "Meeting the Unmet" needs of potential clients
in the remote regions of India. The campaign spanned across 150+ cities, specifically
targeting Tier-2, 3, and 4 cities. It witnessed an impressive in-person attendance of over
3,000 customers, covering an impressive distance of 48,000+ kilometers.
The journey of PrintXpress commenced in Greater Noida, with 4 buses equipped with digital
presses, allowing visitors to experience the benefits firsthand. These buses demonstrated 2
live engines, the AccurioPrint C4065 and High Chroma Engine AccurioPress C73hc,
enabling attendees to explore new business opportunities. Additionally, there was a
dedicated zone showcasing finished print applications, providing visitors with a glimpse of
MGI samples. The campaign buses followed separate routes, reaching towns like t-
Gorakhpur, Samastipur-Tezpur, Ranipet-Gingee, Karwar, and Kavali, among others, to
showcase the functionality of digital printing and Print-on-Demand to both potential and
existing clients.

At its core, the PrintXpress campaign aimed to democratize efficient and cost-effective
printing solutions. Rural businesses often encounter obstacles such as limited resources,
logistical challenges, and lack of awareness when trying to access modern printing
practices. The campaign aimed to eliminate these barriers by offering live demonstrations
and tangible experiences of the benefits digital printing could provide. While digital printing
and Print-on-Demand were already gaining momentum in urban areas, this initiative sought
to bridge the gap by introducing these transformative technologies to rural India.
The campaign not only explored uncharted territories but also provided businesses with
valuable insights into sustainable workflows in the printing, imaging, and document
management domains.
