Commenting on their new acquisition, Akshay Mehta, MD & CEO of Mehta Graphics &
Printers said, “This collaboration with Arrow Digital is a significant milestone for us at Mehta
Graphics & Printers. The EFI Pro 16h is a powerful tool that aligns with our mission to offer
top-notch printing solutions to our clients. Its versatile capabilities to handle both flexible and
rigid substrates, along with its superior image quality, were key factors in our decision.”
The EFI Pro 16h ushers in a new era by enabling printing on a wide range of substrates,
expanding the scope of product offerings. Its remarkable speed ensures the efficient
handling of high-volume tasks, allowing for timely completion without compromising quality.
This versatility is made possible by the innovative EFI ProGraphics Inks, enabling diverse
applications and high-quality output.
The EFI Pro 16h LED UV Hybrid Printer, equipped with four colors plus white ink and singlepass,
multilayer printing capabilities, offers substantial profit opportunities. Featuring Ricoh
Gen 5 Printheads, this production engine boasts a minimum drop size of 7pl and a maximum
speed of up to 976 ft²/hr. EFI’s cool-cure LED imaging technology not only reduces power
consumption but also widens the range of supported substrates. The long-lasting LED lamp
cures prints at low temperatures, allowing businesses to print on a broader spectrum of
substrates, including thin or specialty media that may not withstand other curing or drying
methods. This lower temperature curing also leads to reduced energy costs.
With a resolution of 1200 dpi, the EFI Pro 16h delivers near-photographic images, vibrant
colors, and smooth gradations, thanks to its true four-level, variable-drop greyscale print
capability.
