imagePRESS V700. Supplied and commissioned by Canon India, the new digital colour
production press has elevated the shop’s printing standards while expanding its production
versatility.
S Mareeswaran, Proprietor of World Digital, tells, “We have been in the digital printing
market of Thoothukudi for years, serving customers of all kinds and diverse profiles. Some of
them are just walk-in individuals who regularly come to us for personal requirement of a little
amount of graphic prints and some are jobbers or those in businesses who demand bulk
prints. To fulfil everyone’s demand and desire, we used to somehow manage with a line of
conventional digital presses.”
He adds, “A big turn took place in our digital printing and production process in May this
year. The reason is that we installed a brand new highly-advanced digital colour production
press, the Canon imagePRESS V700—in our facility. Installation of this capable digital press
from Canon India has changed the way we digitally print and produce graphics, which are
now more efficient and impressive than ever. This press is indeed a big ‘disruptor’ for us.”
