Jaipur-based Titu Prints has taken a strategic leap forward in its business transformation
with the installation of the PRPC 330 UV Digital Label Factory, supplied and commissioned
by Packnology Graphics. This new investment marks the company’s formal entry into roll-toroll
label production and reinforces its long-term plan to strengthen its packaging offerings.
For nearly four decades, Titu Prints has been known for its commercial printing, photo
albums, and related value-added products. But with commercial print volumes shrinking and
the once-thriving photo market now at a standstill, owner Mukesh Tanwani has been steering
the business toward newer, more sustainable revenue streams. Labels emerged as the most
promising direction—driven by steady market demand, shorter turnaround expectations, and
growing opportunities in packaging.
The company selected the PRPC 330 specifically for its ability to consolidate multiple
processes within a single, tightly integrated digital production system. Equipped to handle
White + CMYK printing, varnish, digital foil, and digital cutting, the PRPC 330 eliminates the
need for three or four separate machines and the additional manpower they would typically
require. For Titu Prints, this meant faster setup, reduced operational complexity, and a more
efficient workflow, key factors in building a competitive label division.
Tanwani stated “The decision was prompted by numerous queries from clients about sheet
labelling. They cost extra, had to be applied by hand, and frequently left creases. Roll form
labels, on the other hand, can be applied by applicator, providing products a more consistent
and superior appearance. Customers desired labels that appeared real and uniform. This was the right time to move."
This new installation positions Titu Prints to transition seamlessly from sheet-based
operations to roll-to-roll digital label production, helping the company fulfil current orders with
greater speed and consistency. More importantly, it places the business on a future-ready
path, enabling it to tap into the rapidly expanding packaging and labelling market at a time
when traditional printing continues to decline and customer expectations shift toward more
flexible, personalised, and short-run solutions.
With the PRPC 330 now operational, Titu Prints is poised to redefine its growth trajectory—
turning a market challenge into a powerful new opportunity.
“With this machine, one operator can handle the entire workflow. It simplifies operations and
cuts costs. It's not simply about matching current demand. It is about preparing for the
future," Tanwani explained. |
